    • Ali Mountain is full with beautiful sight and human culture, sun rise, cloud sea, forest, train rail and aboriginal culture. The altitude of Ali mountain is higher than 2,000 meters,and the cleanest air in Taiwan. The authentic “marathon on the top of Ali Mountain” is waiting for you.

    Depends on the item you choose. Besides you could have a exclusive T shirt of this event and a customized medal
    Notice
    • 1. For environment protection, this event will not provide parking space, please use payment shuttle bus.
    • 2. No camping, no cooking, no BBQ allowed on Ali Mountain.
    • 3. Runner age limitation: participant must be 18 -70 years old for 21KM and 42KM
    • 4. If participant’s health condition is not well, medical staff or referee has the right to stop you without any argument.
    • 5. Runner shirt, chip and bib will be mailed to your designated address, no reissue or change on active day.
    • 6. All participants will be insured by organizer, which follow the regulation of public accident insurance.
    • 7. Please pick runner shirt, bib, chip before race, the race pack will not be mailed after race.
    • 8. Each participant is required to submit an extra NT$100 as the deposit for the electronic chip when paying the registration fee. The deposit will be returned after the event when the chip is returned.
    • 9. If absence of this racing, participant can call 0973-993-738 to know how the chip deposit be returned only during April 20 ~ April 24, 2020.

  • 10. Race Groups
    • A. The Marathon group is divided according to the date of birth and gender, 5 Male groups and 5 Female groups are listed as below. The visually handicapped group will be set separately.
      • (1) Male Groups
        • ① Male Age 18-29
        • ② Male Age 30-39
        • ③ Male Age 40-49
        • ④ Male Age 50-59
        • ⑤ Male Age 60-70
      • (2) Female Groups
        • ① Female Age 18-29
        • ② Female Age 30-39
        • ③ Female Age 40-49
        • ④ Female Age 50-59
        • ⑤ Female Age 60-70
    • B. Marathon runners must be at least 18 years old. Please fill in the correct date of birth in order for the correct grouping assignment. Failure to submit the correct personal data to the event organizer during registration can result in the cancellation of the applicant’s participation status without any refund. All visually handicapped participants must include a visually handicapped certificate and accompanied by a qualified guide runner in order to register. The guide runner will not be timed. (Each participant is limited to one guide runner, no fee is required for and no souvenir will be given to the guide runner).
  • 11. Prizes and Awards
    • A.Marathon (42.195km) Cash Prizes: Cash prizes are awarded to the overall top 6 winners in the men and women categories.
      • (1) Men and Female Overall 1st Place NT$ 10,000
      • (2) Men and Female Overall 2nd Place NT$ 8,000
      • (3) Men and Female Overall 3rd Place NT$ 5,000
      • (4) Men and Female Overall 4th Place NT$ 3,000
      • (5) Men and Female Overall 5th Place NT$ 2,000
    • B.Half-Marathon (21.0975km) Cash Prizes: Cash prizes are awarded to the overall top 6 winners in the men and women categories.
      • (1) Men and Female Overall 1st Place NT$ 8,000
      • (2) Men and Female Overall 2nd Place NT$ 6,000
      • (3) Men and Female Overall 3rd Place NT$ 3,000
      • (4) Men and Female Overall 4th Place NT$ 2,000
      • (5) Men and Female Overall 5th Place NT$ 1,000
    • * For those who are picking up prizes on behalf of someone else, please present the winner’s bib or personal ID for verification.
    • * Cash prizes are awarded to top winners in the men and women categories. All cash prizes exceeding NT$19,999 is subjected to 10% tax for Taiwan citizens, and 20% tax for foreign nationals.
  • 13. For payment within Taiwan
    • The registration fee can be paid through Famiport system at Family Mart convenient store. Participants will get a payment’s serial number after completing online registration on the event official website. Please use the payment’s serial number to make the payment through Famiport system in any Family convenient store. Please pay the entry fee within 3 days after you get your payment’s serial number to ensure the registration procedure is completed. (This payment method is provided only within Taiwan and extra payment NT$30 is needed for each order in Family convenient shop.)
  • 14. Registration methods and notice
    • ★ Registration is not available on the day of the event.
    • ★ Please ensure that your chip and number bib are kept in a safe place.It is not available to resend any lost items.
    • ★ Participants from off shore areas and foreign countries register in person to avoid postal delays of applications and items.
    • ★ Participants must carefully check race groups when receiving race pack. If any error, please report to service station.
    • ★ Registration by mail:The Event Office will mail all parcels containing event articles one week prior to the event.
    • ★ If unable to participate in the race for any reason before completion of application (Feb 28, 2020), please email to the service.center in Event-pal Office (service@eventpal.com.tw) and return your entry fee after 2 weeks of Feb 28. Organizer will charge NT$ 100 operation fee.
    • ★ After completion of application date, please forgive organizer can’t cancel order if unable to participate.
  • 15. Race Pack Delivery
    • 1. This event office mail race pack (include bib and chip) to every participant.
    • 2. Event office will send the race pack before April 10th, all participant need pay delivery and packing fee. Please make sure the personal information and the mailing address correct.
    • 3. Team or personal delivery fee standard:

    • 4. If participant do not receive race pack before April 10th, 2020, please call event office service line0973-993-738 (work time am 9:30-12:30;pm13:30-17:00)
  • 16. Application: On-line application
    • (1)The race route is on a public road where traffic control is flexibly performed according to traffic conditions at the time. All participants must run in the safety areas as stipulated, and follow directions of police officers or traffic control volunteers. Participants must pay attention to security personnel at all times. If you don’t feel well during the race, please don’t try to run and seek assistance from event’s personnel. Mobile rescue volunteers will patrol continuously all along the way. A cut off point will be setup for 8:30 at the 97.5 K mark, at near the separate mile sign of Chai-yi county with Nan-to county or any participants who cannot reach the finish line at 9:30 as scheduled must accept the referee’s instruction to return to the venue. Those who cannot finish the race or who are disqualified must remove their participant’s chips to avoid disturbing the timing system at the finish line for ranking results.
    • (2) If participants reach the finish line without number bibs, starting record and proof of turning point, or can’t finish the race within the scheduled time, their ranks and results won’t be scored. They will also not be granted finisher medals or time certificates. Furthermore, to maintain the order and quality of the competition, the Event Officeis entitled to disqualify any player who does not wear the number bib by removing the participant’s chip. Participants please cooperate closely with the listed instructions.
    • (3) All participants must complete the following procedures one by one according to the sequence set by the Event Office: (a) race medal (b) race time certificate and (c) souvenir.
    • (4) Participants places for separate group awards will be announced on the day at the venue. If there is any objection, participants must pay a deposit of NT$3000 to apply for check and correction within 30 minutes after announcement. Late applications will not be accepted. Official places for all participants will be announced on the event’s official website within 7 days.
    • (5) For participant’s convenience the Event Office set up a Clothing Storage Section where participants can store personal articles. Participants can collect their articles with their number bibs after the event (by 9:30); however, valuables should be stored at participant’s own discretion and the Event Office is free from liability for any loss.
    • (6)Notes of public accident insurance: The Event Office will conduct emergency medical services only at the scene, which insurance coverage exclude symptoms caused by participants personal disease and claims settlement only include accidental injury insured in public accident insurance. Every player will be insured within a NT$ 3 million public accident cover insurance. (All details in accordance with insurance agreement signed with insurance company)
    • (7) Except for typhoon warning on land announced by Central Weather Bureau, the event will be held as scheduled. Players that fail to participate in the race due to local typhoon warning shall apply for refund of application fee after deducting the relevant handling charge and postage, etc.
    • (8) Players agree that the Event Office can play and display video, photos and times/places of the event everywhere, or publish those in host unit’s website and publications. Players must agree that their portraits, names and places will be announced on the relevant campaigns.
    • (9) If any discrepancies arise on the day according tothe regulations, announcements on the date of the event shall prevail.
  • ※ Regulations against violations:
    • 1. Participants in breach of the following regulations will be disqualified. Referee shall immediately remove disqualified player’s chip to ensure not to disturb the timing system for ranking results on the finish line!
      • a. Participants are prohibited from exchanging chips, wearing other’s chips and wearing two chips on one person. If there is any breach of the regulations, the participant’s time shall not be recorded without any objection.
      • b. All participants must start on time at the designated starting point. Electronic chip ground mat will be removed within 10 min. after gun was sounded to start the race; if the participant’s time to cross the electronic ground mat exceeds 10 min. after starting time, the Event Office is entitled to restrict their start or no time will be recorded.
      • c. If a chip is dropped from an untied shoes lace (metal items are not allowed to tie the chip with), or fails to register at electronic ground mat areas, consequences will be incurred at the participant’s own risk.
      • d. If the participant’s electronic starting time is earlier than the official starting time it will be ignored and the time will be invalid.
      • e. Do not obey the referee’s guidance.
      • f. Participants who fail to collect proof of turning point at the turning point shall be deemed as having quit the race.
      • g. If the participants do not properly display their number bibs on their chests, the referee shall prohibit such participants from accessing to the racetrack 30m prior to the finish line.
    • 2. Any participant who breaches the following regulations shall be disqualified and banned from any event held by the Event Office for one year.
      • a. Any participant who won the race by means of others’ assistances (e.g. riding, Supply…., etc.)
      • b. If participant’s application for running group is inconsistent with identification.
      • c. Those who masquerade as participants to partake in the race.
      • d. Participants who violate the sport spirits and morals (e.g. fight, abuse referee and staffs of the Event Office)
      • e. We strictly prohibit non-applicants from replacing applicants for participating in the race. Any Illegal runners who after investigation are proofed to be so, the chief referee shall not only announce their times to be invalid but also announce their names on the website along with a suspension of one year.
