    ※ The closing time at the finish line is precisely calculated to be within 6 hours from the starting gun.

    ※ Participants who cannot pass the checkpoint by the closing time should follow the guidance of the staff and follow the alternative route planned by the organizers (along the route, there will still be signs, and important intersections will have staff guiding you). You should proceed all the way back to the event venue or use the provided transport vehicle.

    ※ Participants who have completed the registration but fail to make payment within 3 days may have their registration cancelled by the organizer.
    ※ Once the registration process is completed, no change of participant name is allowed for any reason.

    16. Registration Rules:
    Please verify the relevant information such as the name, date of birth, ID number, and gender of the participant during the registration process. Falsifying information may result in unfairness to the competition. If the organizer discovers that the participant has provided false information before the competition, the participant's qualification will be canceled. If false information is discovered after the competition, the results will be canceled, and the awards (including medals, certificates, prizes, etc.) will be recovered. The participant cannot object to this, and the remaining rankings and awards will be filled in order.

    Please fill in the registration information carefully. Once the registration process is completed, no changes to the competition item or refunds will be allowed. Failure to pay the registration fee or an insufficient payment will be considered as an incomplete registration process and cannot be disputed.

    After completing the registration and payment process, the size of the clothing cannot be changed. If the clothing size was not selected during registration, L size will be provided, and no size change service will be available. The color will be provided randomly.

    This event will be based on the order of receipt of completed online registration procedures, and registration will be closed when full capacity is reached. The deadline for registration will be announced on the event's official website.

    Participants under 15 years old will not be accepted. Participants between 15 and 18 years old must provide a consent form from their parents.

    The team leader can also be a participant. The emergency contact person cannot be the same person as the registered participant to avoid emergency situations during the event.

    For groups of two or more, please register as a team. Please provide the team leader's name and address accurately to facilitate mailing.

    The registration system is linked to the ID verification system, and the same person cannot register twice. Do not ask someone else to help with registration and then register again yourself.

    Registration information can be modified before payment is made. After payment, modifications cannot be made. Please check the registration information carefully before making the payment.

    Each registration record has a unique virtual account with identity verification. Different registration records cannot use the same virtual account to make payments. Please pay the correct amount. If overpayment occurs, a refund will be processed, and the handling fee will be borne by the registrant.

    • The registration items will be sent by mail in the week prior to the event. Please be sure to provide the correct mailing address (do not use a postal box). If the package cannot be delivered due to an incomplete or incorrect address or if there is no one to sign for it, the package will not be resent. After completing the registration, please keep the number tag safe. Lost tags will not be reissued.

      Receiving the registration items confirms completion of the registration process. Please go to the venue on the day of the event. On-site registration to receive the items will not be available. If there are any missing items, please report them at least three days before the event, otherwise it will be considered lost.

      Pre-race materials, such as commemorative shirts, number tags, and chips, should be kept safe. Lost items will not be reissued. Please remember to bring the number tag and chip on the day of the event. These will not be reissued at the venue.

      For participants from outlying islands or foreign countries, items can be picked up at the event service area on the day of the event (handling fees are based on the fee table).

      Participants without number tags on the day of the event will automatically lose their eligibility to participate and will not be allowed on the event route. Referees have the right to disqualify participants without number tags.

      Online registration and payment can be made through the FamiPort machine. Click "Payment" on the homepage of the payment machine, then click "Member Payment" and select "活動咖". Agree to the terms and conditions, enter the payment code, and confirm the payment number and amount. Print the payment slip and pay at the counter within 10 minutes. (Note: A handling fee of NT 30 will be charged for each transaction of NT 20,000 or less. The participant is responsible for the handling fee.)

      【JKOPAY】

      The JKOPAY app must first be linked to a bank account.
      For online shopping transactions, JKOPAY currently only supports bank accounts and JKOPAY wallets, and does not support credit cards.

    Refund application procedure:
    If you cancel your registration and apply for a refund within 7 days after completing payment, a 20% deduction from the total order amount will be made and the remaining amount will be refunded.
    If you cancel your registration and apply for a refund more than 7 days after completing payment, a 40% deduction from the total order amount will be made and the remaining amount will be refunded.
    Refund requests will not be accepted after event-related materials have been shipped.
    ※ Please inform the customer service team of the event (service@eventpal.com.tw) by email if you want to cancel the refund. In the email, please state the event name, order number, and the name of the person who needs to be refunded. Also, provide a photo of the refund account, and we will process the refund for you.
    ※ (Example of refund date: if you registered on 1/1, you can apply for a refund within 7 days, and the (1) rule will apply. If you apply for a refund on 1/8 or later, the (2) rule will apply. The same rule applies to subsequent days.)
    Note: The total order amount includes registration fees, chip fees, postage, and purchased goods.

    Prohibited and Violations (Participants will be disqualified, and results will not be calculated)
    Anyone who swaps chips, wears someone else's bib or chip, or wears two chips will be disqualified, and their results will not be counted.
    Participants who do not wear their bib (chip) correctly and cannot be identified will be prohibited from entering the finish line by the referees.
    Anyone who does not follow the guidance of referees, volunteers, or event staff will be disqualified.
    Participants who complete the event by receiving help from others or deviating from the designated route set by the organizers (such as using a vehicle) will be disqualified.
    Anyone who violates the spirit of sportsmanship and morality, such as fighting, insulting referees or event staff, engaging in inappropriate behavior or spreading rumors or false statements, or engaging in behavior that could affect the reputation of the event will be disqualified.
    It is strictly prohibited for someone who did not register to participate in the race instead of the registered participant or to sell or transfer their registration to someone else. If such behavior is discovered, the results will be declared invalid by the referees, and the names of the substitute and original participants will be publicly announced on the internet (other participants are welcome to report such behavior).
    Participants who do not pass the checkpoint or do not have their chip with them will be disqualified, and no objections will be allowed.
    Participants who abandon the race or do not hand in their chips after the race course changes will be disqualified.

    Dispute Resolution for Activities and Results:
    Activity Disputes: Participants may not question the judges on the spot during the activity, and the judges' decision shall be final. No appeals may be made.
    Result Disputes: If participants have any disputes regarding their results, please apply for verification and correction with the timing team of the organizing unit, and the decision of the chief judge shall be final.
    Appeal Procedure: Regarding disputes arising from the activity, they must be raised with the conference within 30 minutes of the announcement of each group's results, along with a deposit of NT$1,000. The competition group will issue a receipt, please keep it safe. All appeals will be decided by the judging committee, and if the judging committee deems the appeal to be unfounded, the deposit will be confiscated.二十三緊急應變辦法 : 

    • Emergency Medical Plan: Safety maintenance and contingency planning are the most important aspects of the event. Having a well-designed safety plan can quickly resolve issues and minimize harm. Each participant on site is covered by public accident insurance. A professional medical unit will be set up on site. An emergency medical contact network will be established to coordinate with local medical units for the fastest emergency response. The main medical team will be assisted by a professional medical group to ensure the personal safety of all participants in the event venue and along the main route. A rain contingency plan will be developed. If a typhoon or natural disaster occurs, information about the postponement or cancellation of the event will be announced on the official event website platform. If weather forecasts indicate a higher probability of rain on the day of the event one week before the race, the number of tents in the event venue will be increased as needed.

    Insurance Explanation:
    a. Please fill in all the columns in the application form carefully and accurately. If there are any errors or omissions resulting in the loss of insurance effectiveness, you should take responsibility for it.
    b. For those who act as a substitute or transfer their participation, if an accident occurs and insurance coverage cannot be obtained, the relevant parties should bear the corresponding joint legal responsibility. Please be aware of this.
    c. Participants should evaluate their own physical condition on the day of the event and act within their ability. Please ensure that you have sufficient sleep and eat breakfast 2 hours before departure. We provide necessary emergency medical assistance on-site. However, self-caused illness or injury is not covered under the insurance policy. The public liability insurance only covers injuries caused by accidents.
    d. For this event, the organizer has purchased public liability insurance for VIPs, referees, volunteers, and participants in accordance with the regulations of document No. 1040823601 issued by the Ministry of the Interior on November 2, 2015:
    (1) For public liability insurance coverage of more than 10,001 people:
    Maximum compensation amount: NTD 140 million
    Property damage liability per accident: NTD 20 million
    Bodily injury liability per accident: NTD 150 million
    Bodily injury liability per person: NTD 5 million
    (2) For public liability insurance coverage of 3,001-10,000 people:
    Bodily injury liability per person: NTD 5 million
    Bodily injury liability per accident: NTD 100 million
    Property damage liability per accident: NTD 20 million
    Maximum compensation amount: NTD 240 million.

    (III) Public accident insurance for 1001-3000 people:
    (1) Each person's bodily injury liability: NTD 5 million.
    (2) Each accident's liability for bodily injury: NTD 50 million.
    (3) Each accident's liability for property damage: NTD 20 million.
    (4) Maximum compensation during the insurance period: NTD 140 million.
    (IV) Public accident insurance for less than 1000 people:
    (1) Each person's bodily injury liability: NTD 5 million.
    (2) Each accident's liability for bodily injury: NTD 30 million.
    (3) Each accident's liability for property damage: NTD 20 million.
    (4) Maximum compensation during the insurance period: NTD 64 million.
    (e) Scope of coverage for public accident insurance: The insured is liable for compensation for bodily injury, death or property damage to a third party caused by the insured's accidental event during the insurance period. When a claim for compensation is made, the insurance company is responsible for compensating the insured.

    f. Special Exclusions:
    Injuries caused by personal illnesses during exercise.
    Injuries resulting from personal physical conditions or symptoms caused by one's own cardiovascular system, such as shock, heart disease, diabetes, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, altitude sickness, epilepsy, dehydration, etc. The insurance coverage does not include symptoms caused by pre-existing conditions, and the public accident insurance only compensates for injuries caused by external accidents.
    Participants with a history of the illnesses mentioned in item 2 are advised to carefully consider their own safety and take out personal accident insurance on their own.
    If you have experienced any of the following conditions or have the following medical conditions, you are at high risk of sudden death. Please consult a physician for professional judgment and do not participate in the activity if you are not fit to do so.
    Unexplained chest discomfort (chest tightness or chest pain)
    Unexplained difficulty breathing
    Unexplained dizziness
    Sudden loss of consciousness
    High blood pressure (>140/90 mmHg)
    Heart disease
    Renal dysfunction
    Diabetes
    High blood lipids (total cholesterol >240 mg/dL)
    Family history of heart disease (first-degree relative with heart disease or sudden death before the age of 60)
    Epilepsy

    Notes:
    In case of rain, the event will still be held as scheduled. If there is a heavy rainstorm warning in the local area or if classes are suspended due to the influence of a typhoon, or if the organizer announces a delay, the event will still proceed as scheduled. However, if there is a typhoon warning for sea or land or any other force majeure, the organizer reserves the right to cancel, postpone, or adjust the race route for the safety of participants and attendees. If the event is postponed or cancelled due to a natural disaster, the registration fee will be refunded after deducting NT$200 processing fee and administrative fee (the administrative fee will be announced separately after calculation).
    When cycling, riders are prohibited from overtaking the lead vehicle. The cycling route is an open road where vehicles of various sizes are still driving normally. Please follow the direction of the traffic control personnel and stop or pass through the intersection according to their instructions. Participants must depart on time, and those who do not depart within 20 minutes of the starting gun will be considered to have forfeited. Those who do not complete the race within the specified time will not be issued a certificate of completion.

    During the self-challenge period, failure to wear a helmet will result in disqualification. The absence of a number sticker on the helmet will also result in disqualification. Both are prohibited from entering the finish line.

    • Although this event is not a competition, fairness and honor are the guiding principles throughout the process. If it is discovered that a participant has deliberately taken shortcuts or cheated by riding in a car or being transported in any way, the organizers will not issue a completion certificate and their results will not be counted.

      Please assess your own abilities before registering to participate. In addition to demonstrating a competitive spirit, overcoming difficulties, and pushing yourself to achieve your goals, it is important to get adequate sleep the night before the event and to have breakfast at least two hours before the start time to avoid setting out on an empty stomach. This will help prevent the risk of low blood sugar, which could cause dangerous symptoms such as fainting.

      The event judges or medical staff have the right to suspend a participant's involvement in the event if they feel that their physical condition warrants it, and participants must not object. It is essential that participants consider their own health status and put safety first. If you feel unwell at any point during the race, please stop immediately. Participants are responsible for any accidents that may occur during the race.

      Participants should take care of their health and refrain from participating if they have a history of heart disease, vascular disease, diabetes, or any other related conditions.

      All participants are volunteers who accept the risks associated with the event. If any injuries or other losses occur during the event, they will be handled according to the public accident insurance policy purchased by the organizers. All details are subject to the terms and conditions of the insurance policy, and the organizers shall not be held responsible.

      The organizers have the right to use videos, photographs, and results from the event for broadcast, display, and publication in various media outlets worldwide. By registering for the event, participants are deemed to have agreed to these terms.

      The organizers will not provide event programs. Please read the official website instructions and notes carefully.

      The personal information collected from participants will be used for direct communication, identification and statistics, insurance, chip tags, and other services related to the event, as well as to inform participants about future cycling events organized by the organizers.

      Safety comes first, and if you feel unwell, please stop riding and ask volunteers for assistance in returning to the event venue. Participants should carry identification documents with them for verification purposes.

    • lease bring your own bicycle to participate in the event. The event will not be responsible for the safekeeping of bicycles, and all bicycles ridden must be equipped with complete front and rear brakes. The use of plastic water bottle holders is prohibited.

      Participants should not linger or occupy the race track before or after crossing the finish line, as it may affect the safety of other participants. If you wish to take photos, please do so in the designated photo area on the other side of the finish line.

      Once participants or registrants have logged into the registration system and completed payment, they are deemed to have agreed to all the rules and regulations of this event.

      The rules and related information of this event will be gradually announced on the registration website. If there are any unresolved issues, the organizers may revise them at any time and notify participants accordingly.

      COVID-19 Prevention Measures:
      To ensure the health of all participants and attendees, please follow the guidelines set by the organizers and work together to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

      Please wear a mask when entering the venue.

      Please follow the designated path for temperature checks. There will be temperature check stations at the venue, where temperature measurement and alcohol disinfection will be carried out. If anyone's temperature exceeds 37.5°C, they will be guided to a quarantine area for rest. If their temperature still exceeds 37.5°C, the organizers will report to TOCC and fill out a temperature abnormality form for the relevant follow-up arrangements and guidance. The organizers have the right to refuse the participation of such participants or personnel in the event.

      Warm-up exercises should be conducted in accordance with the COVID-19 prevention measures. Please maintain a social distance of one meter and wear a mask if social distancing is not possible. Please wear a mask when entering the starting area, and you may remove it after starting the race. Please wear a mask again when returning to the venue after crossing the finish line.
