I. Event Introduction
The [2025 Gaomei Wetland Sea Breeze Charity Run] invites you to run along Taichung's most beautiful wetland coastline, bathing in the sea breeze, enjoying special refreshments, exploring the tourist fish market and Mitsui Outlet, and experiencing the most heartwarming sports travel!
Combining ocean views, charity, and high-quality finisher gifts, whether you are a passionate runner, a family team, or a travel running enthusiast, this race is worth your participation! Every step of persistence will transform into a force for social change.
This event provides charitable services, allocating NT$10 per runner as a charity fund, to be donated to the Friendly Love Education Foundation (Certificate No. 109證他字第000190號), or donating equivalent supplies, to express the spirit of giving back to society.

This race is organized by "EventPal," featuring selected scenic coastal routes along Gaomei Wetland, with refreshment stations showcasing local characteristics along the way, bringing a new experience that combines sports and tourism.

X. Important Notes
• Baggage storage service starts at 5:00 AM on the event day. Please complete baggage storage procedures 30 minutes before the start.
• Please use the provided baggage storage bag and place the baggage card in the transparent pocket of the bag (plastic bags are not supported for baggage storage in this event).
• Please keep valuables yourself. The organizer will not be responsible for any loss.
• Charity Group: Charity donations will be made to the Friendly Love Education Foundation (Certificate No. 109證他字第000190號) after deducting event costs.
• Participants must bring their own eco-friendly cups. No paper cups will be provided throughout the event.

XIII. Registration Eligibility
For participants under 18 years old in all categories, please download the "Guardian Consent Form" online during registration, have it signed by parents or guardians, and email it to service@eventpal.com.tw
Group Registration: For 30 or more participants, please contact customer service for assistance; Group Benefits: For groups of 30 participants, one rest area will be arranged on the event day. Two rest areas for 60 participants, and so on.
XIV. Competition Categories
1. 12km and 6km races are not divided into groups.
2. 21km race: Divided by gender and age groups as detailed in the table below.

XV. Awards
(1) Special Awards for 21km, 12km, and 6km: Top 5 overall male and female finishers will receive overall achievement trophies (21km category includes prize money).
(2) 21km male and female categories will award top 3 finishers in each age group with group achievement trophies and 7-11 gift vouchers. (If any group has fewer than 10 participants, only 1st place will be awarded)
* All winners must present a photocopy of their ID card, residence permit, or passport when receiving awards.
* Winners of overall achievement awards will not be included in age group rankings.
* Domestic winners with prize money exceeding NT$19,999 must pay 10% income tax according to tax law; foreign participants must pay 20% income tax regardless of amount.

XVII. Registration Method
This event only accepts online registration, no on-site registration. Registration forms include individual and group registration. After completing online registration, the system will generate a unique payment account number. Payment methods include FamilyMart FamiPort, Credit Card, and JKO Pay.
XVIII. Check-in Method
All check-ins are conducted by mail delivery; no on-site check-in required on event day. The organizer will mail all materials 1-2 weeks before the race. Please provide accurate mailing address.
XIX. Refund Policy
Refund policies are established according to the Ministry of Education Sports Administration's guidelines. Different refund percentages apply based on timing of cancellation request.
XX. Timing Chip Instructions
This event uses chip timing. Please attach the chip to the front of your shoe with shoelaces or use the chip strap to secure it to your ankle. Strictly prohibited to use metallic items for securing.
XXI. Race Rules and Restrictions
To maintain race quality and protect participant rights, any category changes or name changes after registration deadline will result in disqualification from awards. Athletes must pass over the chip sensing mat and follow all race regulations.
XXII. Results Certificate
Results certificate: Issued immediately upon completion, must be collected on-site. Athlete results will be announced on the EventPal registration platform within one week after the race.
XXIII. Safety and Insurance
Each on-site participant is covered by Public Accident Insurance. Professional medical units are stationed on-site. Participants must assess their abilities before participating and prioritize safety.
